Environment

The concept “environment” is of paramount importance to the local authorities and government. According to the Oxford dictionary “environment” is: “The surroundings or conditions in which a person, animal, or plant lives or operates”. And I add to that: With all accompanying risks and requirements.

Taking stock of environmental risks and meeting environmental demands happens to be a major part of my job. The obvious hazards often surface straight away on site, however, having a look at the municipal archives also reveals the hidden dangers. In addition I frequently cooperate with external parties specialised in ecological risk assessment.

Based on the statutory obligations as required by operating and environmental permits we shall together draw up a plan meeting all municipal requirements. The risk for the company as well as the surrounding area should be reduced to a minimum. After all, the environment remains, now and in the future, a touchstone for responsible entrepreneurship
